Liam O’Connell
Liam is the genius behind our podcast music. He’s a composer, producer and multi instrumentalist, currently studying for a Masters at Bath Spa University.
Born and raised in the north of Scotland, Liam proceeded to spend seven years travelling the world playing and writing music. These adventures included multiple tours of New Zealand and Australia, both as front man for an experimental rock band, and solo with loop pedals.
In 2014 Liam Moved to Bristol where he formed an experimental rock unit called "My Octopus Mind", alongside playing double bass and guitar for a large array of Bristol bands. He has co-composed soundtracks for the likes of Channel 4's Random Acts and the BFI and performed live with circus, theatre and silent film and released numerous albums.
Leeem is a new outlet to allow for experimentation with musical ideas, and sonic styles that do not fit with Liam's usual projects. You can expect to be treated to a wide range of musical approaches over the years to come.
