Mark Porter is one of Europe’s most acclaimed editorial designers. He started out in magazines working as an Art Director for The Evening Standard, and iconic magazines like Wired and Colors. But his career really took off when he joined The Guardian as Creative Director. In his ten years as creative director, Mark Porter created a design philosophy and style for The Guardian which helped them become one of the world’s most recognisable news organisations. In 2010, Mark founded Mark Porter Associates, an award-winning design consultancy working in digital, print and television. He has worked with some of the world's best-loved media brands, on projects large and small, as well as independent publishers and charities. The audience is at the heart of Mark’s work, and he believes that good design can drive engagement, loyalty and love. Mark has also won many prestigious awards for his work and his work has been shown in numerous international exhibitions and galleries, including the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Design Museum in London.
